About Our Family

Lance and I have been married for 10 years!!! We have 3 children, Kenton Doyle, McKelle Alyse, and our new arrival Avilynn Belle. Things are always crazy at our house between juggling work and home life. Even though life is hectic I love living it. It is so wonderful and such a blessing to have a family like ours!

Spring Fever! Come on Weather!!!

So, I picked up a new hobby a few years ago, and now as soon as the snow melts, my little heart goes pitter patter when I see my precious plants emerging in the ground, ready to summon spring! I can't resist going outside and looking for my tulip heads popping out!

I get so excited when I see them... cuz I know the dreary days of brown ugliness is almost over and my bed designs are coming soon!

Also another joy is seeing my precious perennials coming back, stronger and better than the year before. This is a Shasta Daisy "Becky" and a Holly Hock coming back in my backyard garden. I cleared away all my dead tops of plants back there ... and have a wonderful garden emerging... ( I hope!)

I get so excited, and spend a lot of time out in my yard watching very closley (too close probably) and watch every plants progression out of dormency... This year I am trying to contain myself until mid april to do a lot because, I got going in early march last year, and I think it burned me out early....

Anyways, there will be more posts to come on my gardens and their progress!

What can I say - I have fallen in love with Gardening!

I wish I was into that kind of stuff, I have never successfully grown any plant. Fun for you though!

I'm right there with ya girl! It's one of my favorite things to do. I get it from my Mom who got it from her Mom and so on... It is so theraputic to get out there an create something beautiful and watch it grow. Only a few more weeks to go!!!!

I love the first signs of spring too...even if I don't have a yard to work in. Although I get really sad when I see these poor lil' plants start coming up and then it DUMPS snow again! I hope they were okay from our last storm. Hopefully that was our last!
